Mary Desu cleaved through the Royal Guard with her enchanted katana, Hajimemashite. The superior Japanese steel sliced the men into clean chunks and blood spilled everywhere. Mary Desu, a high school girl with bright red hair and flashing green eyes and wearing a Japanese schoolgirl uniform because she was a transfer student to a Japanese high school, sheathed her katana when the guards were dead. She closed her eyes and thought about the men she had killed, and Hajimemashite glowed as it absorbed their souls. Mary Desu could feel her power levels increase.

Note: this comment has spoilers for the entirety of Act 6 as of today's update.
Parts of the fan community are annoying sometimes, and I respect your opinion, but if you don't like us, don't criticize us publicly because that's just a way to attract us.
Seriously, though, not all of the fan community are weeaboos who make horrible Mary-Sue fantrolls, post their hard-to-read quirks everywhere, and take the troll quadrants seriously (although I must admit that I do occasionally do that last one).
I do know that we can be annoying sometimes (re: the CAUCASIAN! incident, in which there were more people telling others not to take it so seriously than there were taking it seriously), but overall, we're all just humans. Stereotyping us as drooling idiots is the same thing as stereotyping- you know what, I'm not going to put an example here because I don't know you personally and I might accidentally hurt your feelings. Every fan community has people like that, but every fan community also has normal people.
I'm going to stop now, because this is getting to Kankri-like proportions. Please at least read this, even if you decide that I'm crazy and that my advice is horrible.

It's the vocal minority that is a group of immature idiots, as is with most other fandoms. A lot of people have done great things for the fandom, but they usually get brushed aside or grouped in together with the people who get weirdly obsessed or act plain out idiotic by others outside the fandom. However inside the fandom, especially on tumblr, those who act like, apparently how you think the entire fandom acts, get made fun of. (For example the tumblr accounts "homestucksonyoutube" and "homestucksondeviantart",that have the sole purpose of pointing out stupid fans)

I think that you'd need to correct the picture to 'The obnoxious sections of...' rather than the whole community.
Because by extension, you are included in the community, whether you say so or not.
